Alex Rengit has qualification as Specialist in Orthodontics with a Membership in Orthodontics, MOrth at Royal College of Surgeons of England, Fellowship in Orthodontics FFDOrth at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, MPhil Degree in Orthodontics at the University of Manchester and registration in Specialist List in Orthodontics at the General Dental Council, UK. Dr Alex is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and British Dental Association.
Alex has worked as a Specialist Orthodontist in primary care NHS practices and secondary care hospitals in England and Ireland continuously since 2007. He has extensive experience and expertise leading specialist orthodontic practices in UK & Ireland . Alex’s expertise includes fixed orthodontic appliances including Standard Edgewise systems MBT, Roth, Damon appliances and invisible lingual braces including Incognito, removable and aesthetic orthodontic appliances including Invisalign, and various sophisticated and functional appliances including Twin Block Appliances, managing children and adults in all aspects of comprehensive and cosmetic orthodontic care, working in both NHS and private practice.
He has a special interest in advanced specialist treatment with Invisalign systems including Invisalign Comprehensive, Invisalign Teen, Invisalign Lite and Invisalign Express. ‘Pursuit of excellence in Orthodontics’ is his goal.
Alex is an easy going person and likes to spend time with family and friends. He loves sport including football and cricket, in his leisure time he enjoys playing squash and tennis. Outside his professional work, he is engaged in charity works in the local community.
Dr Minu Rengit, Specialist Orthodontist BDS, MSc Orthodontics (Manchester), MOrthRCS (Edinburgh), FFDOrthRCS (Ireland)
Minu Rengit underwent postgraduate training programme in Orthodontics at the University of Manchester from 2004-2007. She subsequently received a Masters degree in orthodontics with Merit, as well as entry into the specialist list in orthodontics held by the General Dental Council. Minu gained membership in orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2007, and also obtained a fellowship in the Faculty of Dentistry (Orthodontics) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.
Minu has extensive experience working in various specialist orthodontic practices and NHS hospital posts – involving treatment of complex, multidisciplinary and routine cases. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and travelling with friends and family.
